As your Justice of the Peace, I pledge that:

I will continue to be a full-time and fully engaged Justice of the Peace.

I will perform the duties of a Texas Justice of the Peace in an ethical, professional, and responsible manner using a common-sense approach.

I will treat everyone with dignity and respect using tact and diplomacy in all situations.

I will continue to approach every case/situation with an open mind and without prior prejudices so that justice will be fair and impartial.

I will continue to stay current on all legal issues by attending seminars and workshops offered by the TJCTC (Texas Justice Court Training Center), other professional organizations such as the Texas Justice Court Judges Association, Texas Association of Counties, National Association of County Courts and the Justice of the Peace Division of the State Bar of Texas and others.
